Esteban is currently responsible for the coaching and training of the U-13 Blue team at Crown City. His soccer coaching experience includes volunteer assistant coach at California State University, Northridge and youth coaching positions with San Gabriel Valley Soccer Club, Arsenal Soccer Club, and Santa Anita Soccer Club, coaching at competition levels from Under-11 to Under-19 Premier. Esteban currently holds a USSF D Coaching License. Esteban has also coached at La Salle High School.
A graduate of California State University, Los Angeles in 1999, Esteban played soccer and ran track and field for CSULA, earning NCAA Division II All-American, All Far-West, and All-CCAA Conference honors in soccer.
As a teacher, Esteban has been dedicated to the youth of Southern California, serving as the activities director for C.A.R.E Systems in Orange County organizing activities for troubled teens, teaching preschoolers, tutoring Spanish-speaking students in grades 3 through 6, and coaching at the Nike Soccer Camp in East Los Angeles, teaching soccer skills to under-privileged children.
