Crown City United Soccer Club

Currently the head coach of the Boys U-13, Boys U-14 teams and the Girls U-19 team, Oswaldo Monroy Vargas has been playing professional soccer for more that 12 years in the United States and Mexico. In Mexico, he played for Atlante, Taxcala, Veracruz, Acapulco and in indoor professional leagues with Shuma and Marchán in some of the largest soccer venues in Mexico including Estadio Azteca, home of the World Cup finals in 1970 and 1986. Jaime first started playing sports when he was six-year-old. His soccer career began when he was ten years old where he played in AYSO for South Pasadena. He has never played any other position as serious as that of goalkeeper. His father used to play in the goal for the second team of the Chivas de Guadalajara. Esteban is currently responsible for the coaching and training of the U-13 Boys team at Crown City.  His soccer coaching experience includes volunteer assistant coach at California State University, Northridge and youth coaching positions with San Gabriel Valley Soccer Club, Arsenal Soccer Club, and Santa Anita Soccer Club, coaching at competition levels from Under-11 to Under-19 Premier. Esteban currently holds a USSF D Coaching License. Esteban has also coached at La Salle High School.  Entire Bio
